🎵 Heartbeat is a frantic rhythm game where you help Mia confront herself by building a makeshift word weapon redirecting the boss’s attacks.

🎵 This project was made in four days for the 2023 Boss Rush Jam, by a team of 4 friends. My task was a combination of game design, music, and sound effects. I got inspired by the story & poem Thomas Boone wrote for this game, and used it as creative fuel to write & produce a musical theme that represents Mia, the main character of the game. To make her feel even more real, I opted to add a vocal melody singing the poem, which can be heard in the other version of the track.
